PROTEST: OBAMA KEEP YOUR PLEDGE TO RECOGNIZE THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

Culver City, CA - A protest held in front of Sony Studios in Culver City, CA today. Hundreds of Armenian gathered to demand that U.S. President Obama keep his pledge to recognize the Armenian Genocide of 1915 which was clearly committed by the Ottoman Turkish government.

President Obama, Do the right thing. Keep your promise to the American-Armenians who voted for you because of your campaign promise to recognize the Armenian Genocide by the hands of the Young Turks, 1915-1923... Do not be one of those individuals who consciously and deliberately forget the past because that is easier ~~ do not become a "yes man" to Armenian genocide denialists, who choose to rewrite history for their own benefit. This is the 96th anniversary of the first genocide of the 20th century. My parents were survivors of that horrible tragedy. The truth must be told.
